For our 11th release we welcome Crimson Scar to LUX Music. With his aggressive yet melodic style he’s captured audiences and made a name for himself in the European bass scene. Through his Fragmental EP he’s ready to show the rest of the world his broad skill set and prowess in multiple genres.

Crimson Scar kicks off the EP with a heavy rock-inspired drum and bass tune. Ever After talks about the frustrating lows and euphoric highs of love, with frenzied leads, whipping drums and a bouncing bassline driving home the whirlwind of emotions.

Next up Crimson Scar drops the tempo and brings us Peace of Mind. Unlike the title implies, this tune isn’t just mellow and laid back. Whilst there is a comforting atmosphere in the intro and breakdown, Crimson Scar creates a beautiful dichotomy through the rawness in the drop, conveying a sense of unrest, struggle and aggression. This combination between sensibility and discontent is precisely what Peace of Mind means, and relates heavily to daily life.

Lastly we turn the energy up to 11 with a hyper energetic bass house track. FAKE! Is all about the party mood, having a good time and enjoying yourself. The catchy melody, dynamic rhythm and bubbly synths deliver the perfect track to close out this varied release.

Combine all these tracks together and you get the Fragmental EP, a statement piece by Crimson Scar that is perfect for many different settings and environments.
