The Dutch have a long tradition of supplying the world with world class musicians in pretty much any genre. This is especially apparent in drum & bass, where acts like Noisia and Black Sun Empire reign supreme over the rest of the world. More recently acts like IMANU and Buunshin have been taking the world by storm, and the next huge superstar from the lowlands is about to have a major breakthrough. This is his next EP on LUX.

23 year old mega talent Sjef van der Heijden, professionally known as Koarse, has cooked up a genre bending concoction of some of the most unique dnb you'll hear in years. Whether it's the ridiculously funky playfulness of Hotwire or the straight dancefloor murderation of Brief Fundamentals, this is going to cause a ruckus.

Huge bass design and impeccable mixdowns, catchy rave leads and slappy drums are all over this EP and every time when you think you've heard it all, Koarse throws another curveball your way. Where Dissonance is a balls to the wall weapons grade speaker punisher, Proceed To Be Haunted offers a more unique take on the ever evolving sound of Koarse, with clever kick patterns guiding the awesome dubsteppy lead sounds through a sonic journey of pure creativity.
